In November 2014, I created a Facebook page called “Draft Nick Freitas for Delegate.” Within two months, grassroots supporters from across Culpeper managed to convince Nick run for the Virginia House of Delegates 30th District.

A year later, he was in the General Assembly representing our community. No long after that Nick became a household name across our community for his passionate speeches in defense of our freedoms and liberty in Richmond.

I’ve had the honor of calling Nick one of my closest friends before he first ran for elected office, and it’s been an even greater honor serving alongside him as his legislative assistant during his first term in office.

Now, five years after I began the first public movement to urge Nick to run as our delegate, I’m urging anyone who believes in individual liberty, constitutional government, and economic freedom to once again join me in urging Nick to run—this time as representative of Virginia’s 7th U.S. Congressional District.

Challenging a sitting member of Congress is neither easy nor something to be taken lightly. However, Nick has proven himself beyond a doubt to be the most qualified candidate to seek the Republican nomination for this seat.

From his record as a Green Beret Iraq War veteran, to his viral speech in defense of our Second Amendment rights, to doing the impossible and winning an election in a landslide when his name wasn’t even on the ballot, I know Nick can and will win.

Draft Nick Freitas for Congress!
