Virginia P. Miller, 85, of Rixeyville, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA. She was born June 4, 1934, to the late John & Stella Peel of Roanoke, VA. She is survived by her husband Barry, having been married 61 years. Children: Judith L. Anderson (Tom) Fairfax, Barry S. Miller, Jr. (Gayle) Crozet, and Karen R. Miller, Centreville. Four grandchildren; Shane Anderson, Caitlin & Kristian Miller, and Zachary Miller. One sister, Catherine Goodwin, of Walhalla, SC, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Virginia was a "born again Christian" who loved the Lord, her husband, and her children. While a long time member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Annandale, Va., she compiled member's favorite recipes for a cookbook that was published in 1979. Virginia was an excellent cook, avid reader & book collector, porcelain doll-maker, needle-point artist, and weaver. Her remains will be buried with her husband when he dies, and both will be buried in Culpeper National Cemetary. Please pray for those who choose Hell instead of Heaven.
