Beulah Baptist Church of Rixeyville celebrated its 139th Homecoming/Anniversary on Sept. 1, and more than 130 people attended. While members and guests harmonically celebrated the church’s history, wearing the church’s black logo polo shirt, Pastor Kenneth Pitts spoke on “Preparing for Homecoming,” how God is getting us ready for our heavenly home.

The BBC mass choir rendered the music. Later, everyone adjourned to The Butler–Bannister Fellowship Hall to feast on a meal prepared by the hospitality ministry.

At the evening service, the Rev. Arthur Greene from Swift Ford Baptist Church in Madison County spoke on the topic, “What Have You Gathered?” and how God will make something out of nothing. It was a glorious day to be at Beulah, church members said.
