St. Patrick's Day

Regional James Bland Scholarship Competition

2 p.m. at Culpeper Baptist Church featuring the three vocal and three instrumental winners from the Culpeper, Manassas and Rappahannock local contests. The winners of this competition will advance to the District 24-L contest at 2 p.m. on April 28 at the Lyceum in Alexandria. The last stage of the competition will be the state contest at 7:30 p.m. on May 17 at the Delta Marriott hotel in Chesapeake during the MD24 Lions Convention.

Mid-Day Lions Bingo

School Board Administrative Committee meeting

8 a.m. in the Culpeper County School Board office, 450 Radio Lane.

Toddler Story Time

10:30 a.m. at the Culpeper County Library. Fun and engaging lap-sit program to help children develop early literacy skills for kindergarten readiness. Stories, songs, puppets and finger plays. Parents sit on the floor with their children in their laps, helping them to participate in the program. No registration necessary. Older siblings welcome to attend.

Blue Ridge Chorale

Rehearses 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays at Open Door Baptist Church in Culpeper under the direction of C. Alexander Smith. Those interested in joining the group are encouraged to come early to register or at Young voices are encouraged. 540/219-8837.

Restore Culpeper

Meets every Monday at 7 p.m. at Country Café in Culpeper. Christ-centered, 12-step program is for those struggling with addictions and family members who travel that journey with them. All are welcome. Volunteers needed.
