Family & Friends Day Concert on July 7
The Zion Hill Gospel Singers of Washington, D.C. and The Nu Gospel Crusaders of Fredericksburg will be the featured performers at a Family & Friends Day Concert at 4 p.m. this Sunday at Greater Faith Baptist Temple, 10042 James Monroe Highway in Culpeper.
The Rev. Angie Lewis, a gospel comedian from Fredericksburg, will also perform. Doors will open at 3 p.m.

The Art of Parenting
An eight-week, small-group Family Life series, “Art of Parenting,” will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on consecutive Sunday evenings from July 7 through Aug. 25 at Stevensburg Baptist Church, 19393 York Road in Culpeper County.
This video-driven series is designed to help parents raise their children from a biblical foundation. Anyone willing to invest time and effort in their parenting approach will benefit.

‘Deep Truth’ is Sunday sermon subject
“Reversal--Deep Truth” is the topic for Mountain View Community Church’s sermon on Sunday, July 7.

July 11 at Reformation Lutheran
On Thursday, July 11, Reformation Lutheran Church, at 601 Madison Road in town of Culpeper (across from Rite-Aid), will be having Drive-Thru Prayer.
Drive-Thru Prayer is available to all persons of all ages. Come in your vehicle or on foot from 5 to 7 p.m.
Prayer teams are available for personal prayer and anointing with oil. Come visit, and church members will share how Jesus can touch lives.
Amissville United Methodist breakfast on July 20

Honoring our past, equipping our future
Antioch Baptist Church of Culpeper will host Family and Friends Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 20 at Mountain Run Lake Park. All are welcome for a day of fellowship and fun with family and friends in celebration of 160 years on the rock.
Antioch’s 160th anniversary will be celebrated with a Sunday morning service at 11 a.m. July 21 and an afternoon service at 3 p.m. Pastor Harrison Williams and his choir and congregation will be the guests. Lunch will be provided.
Reformation Lutheran holds a Prayer & Healing Service at 6 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of every month at the church, 601 Madison Road in the town of Culpeper.
The service features special prayers for healing of mind, body and spirit, with laying-on-of-hands and anointing with oil.
Prayer Teams are available for those seeking the special touch of Jesus. All visitors are welcome to come and see how Jesus can change lives and bring healing and wholeness.
Homecoming and Revival in Madison
Antioch Baptist Church of Madison will hold its annual Homecoming and Revival Services on Sunday, July 28, through Friday, Aug. 2.
The Sunday service will begin at 11 a.m., followed by lunch and an afternoon service at 3 p.m. The Rev. Keith Sherard of Free Union Baptist Church of Culpeper, along with his choir, congregation and ushers will be revival guests.
Weekday revival will be begin at 7 p.m. with prayer and praise and the service at 7:30 p.m., beginning Monday and Tuesday with the Rev. Fred Sales of Macedonia Baptist Church in Colonial Beach. The Monday choir will be from Beulah Baptist of Eggbornsville; on Tuesday, the choir from Mount Pisgah in Tanners will participate.
Wednesday and Thursday’s revival will feature the Rev. Micah Jackson of Seventh Street Memorial Baptist Church in Richmond. Wednesday is Youth Night. The Wednesday choir will be from Ebenezer Baptist in Lignum and on Thursday, the Community Choir of Culpeper Baptist Church, under the direction of Craig Alexander Smith. The Revival will conclude Friday night.
Summer Music Camp
Children aged 3 to rising 9th-graders are invited to Summer Music Camp from 9 a.m. to noon daily July 29 through Aug. 2 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 115 N. East St. in downtown Culpeper.
With a theme of “Sharing Jesus Through Music Around the World,” there will also be several talks about missions for adults to attend. Registration is open at ststephensculpeper.net. at Bible School
St. Luke Lutheran will host its 2019 Vacation Bible School nightly on 5:30 to 8 p.m. from July 14-18 at the church, 1100 N. Main St. in Culpeper, for kindergarten through fifth grade. The theme will be “Miraculous Mission.”

Antioch Baptist will host a Saturday Night Live Service at 6 p.m. July 13 at the church, 202 S. West St. in the town of Culpeper.
The new, monthly worship service is designed to minister to those unable to make it to Sunday morning worship. It is also for those who just like to worship on Saturdays. There will be a great lineup of preachers and choirs. All are welcome.
Summer Music Camp
Mountain View Community Church and faith partners recently launched Restore Families, a support group for family members of those who are struggling with addictions or have lost family members to overdoses.
The group meets from 7 to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 West St. in the town of Culpeper. Meetings will be held July 11 and July 25.
