Windmore Peter Pan Musical Theater Camp is from June 1 to June 17 for ages 7 to 17 at Verdun Adventure Bound in Rixeyville. The camp will take place over 12 weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and culminate in two performances on June 17.

All aspects of theater will be taught including: auditioning, acting, singing, dancing, choreography, set design, props making and performing in a full production.

On Saturday, June 17, the summer camp youth will perform the musical Peter Pan, Jr. based on J.M. Barrie’s classic tale. The camp and musical performance will take place at Verdun’s Anne Marie Sheridan Amphitheater. Two performances of the musical Peter Pan, Jr. will take place at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Verdun’s Anne Marie Sheridan Amphitheater. Food will be available for purchase. Verdun is located at: 17044 Adventure Bound Trail, Rixeyville. Gates open from noon to 7:45 p.m. Event occurs rain or shine.

Tickets include one performance of the musical Peter Pan: $5 for ages 7 and under, $7.50 for ages 8-18, and $10 for adults. Tickets are available online at Advance ticket holders receive: general admission early seating priority and guaranteed indoor seating if it rains. Tickets will also be available at the gate on June 17.

Mandy the Clown visits Verdun on June 17. In between performances of the Peter Pan musical from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mandy the Clown will be entertaining with her usual funny antics and will provide some balloon art when she is not on stilts or riding her unicycle.

Call for writers and artists—Windmore Pen-to-Paper Writers Group to publish new 2017 anthology. Windmore is now accepting works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry and memoirs. Photography or original art about the stories will also be included in the publication. Windmore’s new anthology will be published this year.All Windmore members are encouraged to submit their writings or illustrations for consideration.

Windmore Annual Membership Meeting—June 22. The public is cordially invited to attend the annual Windmore membership meeting to learn more about the programs, events and opportunities that Windmore provides for the community.
