Physicals will be offered at several locations, including UVA Primary Care on Bennett Road.

Athletes can receive sports physicals for the Virginia High School League throughout June at three UVA Health System sites in Culpeper County.

Available by walk-in for $25, the physicals continue a partnership between Culpeper County Public Schools and the UVA Health System.

All student-athletes who wish to compete in the 2019-2020 school year’s athletics must have a valid physical on file with their school. To limit your wait time, please call ahead to the particular UVA Health System location.

VHSL physicals are valid from July 1 to June 30 each year. They apply to all workouts and tryouts, so plan to complete your physical prior to those team events.

If you have a question, please contact your school’s athletic director.

Throughout June, the three UVA Health System sites are:

  • UVA Primary Care Culpeper Family Practice, 1200 Sunset Lane, 540/825-6100, M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • UVA Primary Care Family Care of Culpeper, 16240 Bennett Road, 540/825-5951, M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • UVA Pediatrics Culpeper, 16244 Bennett Road, (540) 825-5381, M-F, 8-10 a.m.

For families’ convenience, sports physicals also will be done by UVA Health System providers at Culpeper Middle School on July 30, starting at 6 p.m.

To shorten your wait on that day, Culpeper County High School students should arrive at 6 p.m., Eastern View High School students at 6:30 p.m., and middle-school students at 7 p.m. Make checks payable to Culpeper County High School.

Parents must ensure Pages 1, 2 and 4 of the VHSL sports-physical form are complete before meeting with the physician. Incomplete forms will not be processed.

VHSL physical forms can be obtained at the main office of any middle or high school or online at
