Culpeper’s JV team may have lost the war Thursday night, but they won a battle for the first time this season.
Taylor Young finished with an impressive five kills in the Devilettes’ 2-1 (18-25, 25-22, 4-15) loss to Osbourn.
Sami Colvin led the way from the serving line, finishing 9-10 with an ace. Malissa Mullins finished 9-11 on her serves, and she also recorded two aces.
