EVHS traveled to Herndon Sunday to finish the tournament they began a few weeks ago, and came away with a 2nd-place finish.
EVHS 1, Western Albemarle 0
The Cyclones won what coach Peggy Allen called a defensive struggle against the Warriors 1-0 thanks to a first-half score from Jacky Bedsaul.
Lake Braddock 3, EVHS 1
The Cyclones faced triple-A powerhouse Lake Braddock in the finals of the Herndon tournament and lost 3-1 after an early goal from Morgan Martin.
EVHS travels to Chancellor Wednesday for a match at 4 p.m.

The MVP of the Herndon tournament comes from EVHS also. Our goalie Nicole Woodworth.
