Eastern View and Martinsburg, W.V. are tied at 7 after one quarter of play. Stevie Strother scored a 4-yard touchdown run for the Cyclones. Cody Whitlock is 4-for-7 for 44 yards through the air.

Stonewall Jackson took a 6-0 lead over Culpeper County High School on a 40-yard punt return by Derek Lett with 6:26 remaining in the first quarter.

Damien Thigpen gave Stonewall Jackson a 12-0 lead with 3:25 remaining in the first quarter.Thigpen broke a 39-yard touchdown run to give the Raiders the early advantage.

CCHS cut into Stonewall Jackson’s lead as Larry Williams scored from 11 yards out to cut the Raiders lead to 12-6. The play was set up by an interception return by Matt Bennett. On the ensuing kickoff Thigpen broke away for an 85-yard touchdown return. Stonewall leads 19-6 with 10:13 remaining in the second quarter.

Thigpen struck again for Stonewall Jackson as the Tennessee Volunteer recruit broke a 61-yard touchdown run to give the Raiders a 26-6 lead with 8:23 remaining in the first half.

Martinsburg leads EVHS 35-14 at the half. Stevie Strother has 129 yards rushing and Kameron Puller has 199 yards of total offense for Martinsburg. Strother has two touchdowns for the Cyclones.

Stonewall Jackson leads Culpeper County High School 26-6 at halftime.

Thigpen scored from 28 yards out to give Stonewall a 33-6 lead with 6:43 remaining in the third quarter.

Damien Thigpen scored his fifth touchdown with 2:44 remaining in the third quarter to give Stonewall a 40-6 lead.
