Samantha O’Connell scored a late goal for the Eastern View Cyclones Wednesday at Chancellor, but it wasn’t enough as the Chargers won, 2-1.
Cyclones shoot record low score at Country Club
Eastern View shot a 201 Tuesday, the Cyclones lowest score of the season, and came in third behind Chancellor (176) and Kettle Run (186) at the Country Club of Culpeper.

Eastern View employed the “bend, don’t break” philosophy against Clarke County Friday night. The Cyclones gave up 289 yards on the ground but only gave up one touchdown en route to a 12-7 victory against the Eagles (2-2).

Culpeper coach Greg Martz was extremely animated as he charged onto the field to talk to his struggling offense after calling a time out late in the first half of Friday’s 38-0 loss to Colonial Forge.
