Regardless of whether we acknowledge it or not, we’re each faced with difficult decisions daily and the staff of the Culpeper County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office is no exception.

Growing up on television programs like “L.A. Law,” “Night Court” and “Matlock,” I was surprised to discover that life doesn’t imitate art as portrayed by Hollywood quite as often as I had hoped.

In the dominion of my mind, no thought is more lamentable than knowing that your career may kill you.
