This letter is addressed to the person or persons who took it upon themselves to take the wood from the property across from the Fairview Cemetary on Sperryville Pike.
My husband had sawed this wood into “stove-length” pieces that were to be used for our winter heat, but you took it upon yourself to tresspass and steal that which was not yours.
How can you feel good about yourself?
Did you take this wood to sell for profit?
Is it just your nature to take what is not rightfully yours?
Take a good look at yourself. Do you like what you see?

Why does everything have to be turned into a political diatribe betweeen parties? Someone stole the lady’s wood. Purely and simply a thief!!!! Democrat or Republican, it all comes down to the same thing. I am really dismayed that there are people in this world that stoop low enough to take others’ property but it is a fact and has nothing to do with politics. I am truly sorry, Mrs. Creel, and I hope you find who did this.

Mrs Creel, I am saddened by your loss because it demonstrates the true state of our economy when people begin to steal just to keep warm. I’m sure Copper would prefer a McCain administration granting Exxon the right to sell you firewood for 3 dollars per pound since hundreds of billions isn’t enough to maintain the lifestyle of thier CEO. Since copper is a Republican maybe he would like to help you and your husband, oh that’s right that’s not how Republicans operate they only take from the poor citizens to give to the wealthy, we would’nt want to “share the wealth” would we copper. Don’t “share the wealth,“ isn’t that the latest MCcain/Palin slogan for increasing the gap between the Rich and poor while completely eliminating the middle class? If I had a wood pile I would gladly share my wood with you and your husband Mrs Creel. But like you, I have to use an alternative like kerosene heaters because I cannot afford my winter electric bills.

Ms Creel, I’m sorry about your wood, but it is the begining of the Obama Administration’s redistribution of wealth. You see, you and your husband provide the wood and the work and it is taken by the government and given to those who don’t want to work. This is what we will have with Obama!
