Which candidate is more transparent?

Barack Obama was given his only executive job, funding his brand of “education improvement,” by Bill Ayers. Obama says Ayers “was someone in the neighborhood.” He left out that he got a job from Ayers.

Obama also left out that Ayers’ wife worked with his first law firm. That firm represented ACORN, the organization under indictment in several states for voter fraud. What else is Obama lying about?

We all know what John McCain has done, and where he did it. What do we know about Obama? He won’t even release his college transcripts. Avoiding answers and withholding facts will disqualify you for any other government job. McCain is the only candidate displaying the motivation, and information, to allow the public to vote.

rjma - according to FactCheck.org (Annenberg!), “McCain’s support of President Bush’s position has been as low as 77 percent (in 2005), and his support for his party’s position has been as low as 67 percent (2001)“.
On the other hand, they point out that, “Also, Obama voted in line with fellow Senate Democrats 97 percent of the time in 2007 and 2005, and 96 percent of the time in 2006, according to CQ.
And so . . .
So to sum up, McCain has indeed voted to support the unpopular Bush 95 percent of the time most recently, but less so in earlier years. And Obama has voted pretty close to 100 percent in line with fellow Democrats during his brief Senate career.“
Now, who has a lower approval rating than Bush?  Congress.  And who voted with them nearly 100% of his short political career?  Obama.  Thanks for sending me on a fact-finding mission so we could see who is actually the party-liner (with the leftist majority), and who truly is capable of independent thought.  Time to find a new line, rjma.

rjma, you’re repeating that “90% of the time” ad nauseum makes you more of a clone of Obama’s than McCain is of Bush. It might help if you actually understood how government works. First, McCain would most likely be stymied by a Dem. controlled congress. Second, he would bring in a whole new cabinet which hopefully would NOT press for drivers licenses for illegal aliens as Obama is proposing. Thirdly, our next president will be presented with a completely different set of problems than Bush faced. Those problems will require someone with experience, not some anti-American who frequently associates with other anti-Americans then alters his allegiances as soon as the media gets wind. His eloquence is misleading…Hitler was a great orator also!

Hey semper fi mom - a heartfelt thanks to you and your son.  What everyone seems to forget, all to easily, is how many of our brave men and women are out there protecting our rights to do exactly what we’ve been doing here - speak freely.  If we don’t stop taking these freedoms for granted, they could all too easily disappear, and I’m afraid Sen. Obama will only speed that process along, if given the chance.
I pray for your son and the others with him, as well as their families, every day.  Thank you, and God bless.

Cuidadano-Have you ever read Obama’s book?  He’s a socialist/Marxist even in his own words. Acorn IS abusing it’s responsibility to remain non-partisan in exchange for tax funding & have been PROVEN by video and recordings to be doing so. Mr. Ayers-has never repented his attempts at murdering people with bombings-again-in his own words; also, he is a friend of Mr. Obama’s and got him a job and launched his presidential campaign from his own home - not just “a guy in the neighborhood.“
Vindication - With respect toward your past career, good job. However, while some percentage of your statements may have some grain of truth, they are dramatically bordering, politely, unreality.
rjma-if it’s even partially criticizing Mr. Obama, you won’t believe it.  Being the truth doesn’t matter. There is much we don’t know about Mr. Obama and much he will not release.  Media has not investigated him even 1/10th of what they’ve done to others. While “Change” and “Hope” resonate poetically - change for change’s sake is stupid.  Hope, however, is positive.

senseit writes:  “Suggesting that McCain is a Bush clone is just as inaccurate for the same reason”.

McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time.  Not quite as faithful as Eric Cantor 98% but pretty clonish.

rjma, “more of the same”? More of the same what? Congress has been held by the Dems. for last couple years and have accomplished NOTHING! Including failing to heed warnings of Freddie/Fanny problems two years ago, but let’s not forget failing to enact comprehensive immigration reform, increased pork barrel spending, done nothing to help/fix soc. sec., out of control health and energy costs and on and on. To suggest that Bush is solely responsible for the state of our country’s numerous problems is inaccurate and displays a lack of knowledge of how this country works. Suggesting that McCain is a Bush clone is just as inaccurate for the same reason. Serious questions remain about Obama’s numerous questionable associates, yet the media hasn’t pressed the issue. Ciudadano wants to send McCain info to CNN? Good, cuz CNN is the only one mentioning anything about ACORN, Ayers, Wright, Rezko or his racist wife and pastor. Let the transparency begin!

“...follow the money and resist…“
Unfortunately, we are unable to follow the money for a huge chunk of Obama’s campaign financing.  I am resisting with everything I have.

This is my last time responding here. please! I have eye problems. You will not find a ‘source’ about mercury poisoning of the cottonwood trees. But it happened. That news is censored. Much about the Apaches never reaches the public. Below is a quote from an Apache writer who complains that US govt. agencies control the news and what gets reported, even to their own people:

“Will the assassinations of Indigenous Peoples by mining corporations in the Americas be exposed, or the diseases resulting from mining, power plants, drilling and pollution in Indian country in the US and Canada be addressed?
Will the casino rich tribes in southern Arizona, with the crowds pouring into their casinos, explain why so many of their own members are still living in poverty?
...Meanwhile, watch the advertisements for sponsors and financial backers. These will tell you a great deal about who is really in control and why you are reading, hearing and seeing, what is in front of you.
As always, follow the money and resist.“

As for me, I’ve done my best to inform you of what I know, not what you get (censored).  God bless America, and I pray Sen. McCain retires.
