America is fighting two wars. The U.S. financial system is in turmoil. Lies and name calling won’t help us choose the best candidate — we need facts.
The nonpartisan Tax Policy Institute compared Obama’s economic policies to McCain’s:
- You will pay less tax under Obama unless you make more than $110,000. If you’re middle-income, you’ll get a 40 percent bigger tax cut. The U.S. deficit will be 30 percent smaller.
Census data since World War II show that capitalism did better under Democratic presidents:
- Whatever their income, American families gained more. Middle-class family incomes grew two to three times faster. The U.S. economy grew almost twice as fast.
During Republican administrations, no one did as well, and the less rich you were, the worse you did. Just like now.

Yeah, now that we have a Democratic lead Congress we are doing well and our mortgage companies are thriving under leadership like Democrat Chris Dodd. Oh that’s right he was receiving kickbacks and special deals on home loans and is number one in receiving donations from these failing companies. That’s real leadership! Vote McCain!!!!!!!!
