Veteran’s Day is a day to show tremendous recognition for those who have served our country and served it proudly. It is a special day for millions across the country and currently there are na-tional cemeteries and numerous other organizations throughout the United States preparing for this day.
The staff of the Culpeper National Cemetery would like to invite all local veterans and residents to the Annual Veteran’s Day ceremony to be held at the cemetery located at 305 U.S. Ave. today at 11 a.m.
This year’s guest speaker will be Commissioner Vincent M. Burgess of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. Commis-sioner Burgess is a Vietnam War veteran who served in the United States Army as a combat engineer.
We hope that you will be able to join us in recognizing some of the bravest men and women that have served their country proudly.
Terrie A. Smith
Director
Culpeper National Cemetery

Thank you for doing this. I wish I could have brought my father in law, a wounded WWII vet, and my husband’s hero, (mine too).
As they age, the Greatest Generation, they can do less and less. But we’ll try next year.
