Last week, I experienced one of those “nightmare” moments, when I discovered the diamond in my engagement ring was gone. Prongs and all, it had snapped off my engagement ring.
I was (and still am) frantic. I started calling the places I had been. Thank you to Gloria at Rappahannock Electric, the two lovely ladies at ABC and the entire crew at Chick-fil-A, who were on their hands and knees searching the floor, reviewing video and doing whatever they could to help me find my diamond. The ladies at ABC even searched the parking lot, and the manager at Chick-fil-A called me several times to see if I had found it.
You were great. I wish we had found the diamond — I am heartbroken — but I wanted everyone to know who you were and what you did.

My girlfriend had the same thing happen last week, If possible go to the locations at night with a 6 volt string flashlight on the ground, a diamond will sparkle with many colors from several feet away. We found my girlfriends under a trashcan where she worked after she gave up and told me about it later that night. It would help if you could try to narrow it down to where you might have broken the ring, picking something up, getting it caught in clothing, carrying things that you put your hand into, etc.
