I am pleased to express my support for Chris Snider for Town Council.

During the time Chris has made Culpeper his home, he has shown his dedication to preserving and improving our town in many ways, one of which has been his service as a member of Town Council.

In this role, he has made every effort to keep the best interests of the citizens of the town of Culpeper a priority.  He has looked at all sides of every issue, not only placing priority on those associated with growth and development, but also considering the importance of preserving the rich history of this unique community. Part of this history has involved the recognition of the participation and sacrifices made by Culpeper families in the wars fought for the protection and preservation of our country.

Toward that end, Chris has been instrumental in creating the Wine Street Park and the memorial established there to recognize Culpeper citizens who fought in World War II and the Korean conflict.  Had it not been for the sacrifices made by those fine men, we would probably not be experiencing the freedom that is ours today.

It is important that we have representation on Town Council by those who respect our heritage in planning our future.  As Chris will continue to provide that kind of representation, I encourage you to vote for him on May 6.

Yes he should and I can guarantee that our votes in our family will help keep Chris in office.  Thanks Chris.
