School Board should reverse decision on Cox

The community has spoken and it’s furious.
The rationale behind the School Board’s request for Dr. Cox’s resignation seems flimsy at the best and downright stupid at the worst (“The story behind Cox’s dismissal,” July 6).
The rationale seems to be “tension” between Cox and the School Board.
Is it at all possible for the School Board to revisit this decision of resignation?
Perhaps the School Board could listen to the Culpeper community and reverse its decision?
We all make mistakes. Noble is the person who can admit it and fix it.

Either vote better people in public office or expect far worse than this to happen.

Was there a furious vote that I missed out on?
I think it’s a sham perp’d by the school board, sure, but “furious”?
Have you ever seen or read about Red Sox player Manny Ramirez? He says and does a lot of weird and wacky stuff. (He recently stepped inside the door of Fenway’s left-field Green Monster when nature called.) People use the term, “That’s Manny being Manny.”
With underage sex happening in CCSO cars, $110 million deals being planned behind closed doors for months, and now the firing of Cox, I just thought:
“It’s Culpeper being Culpeper.”
Sure, it’s a little sad...but furious?
What the county needs a good public spanking...or flogging… and maybe no phone or Internet privileges for at least a month!
Having red brick crosswalks has made everything OK again.
At least with me....
