The teachers at the public schools in Culpeper County are concerned the schools will not get the funding they need, espeially since we are paying for two superintendents due to the School Board’s stupidity in firing David Cox.
We need to vote all of the board members out as soon as they come up for election and then start over with a newly consolidated town and county.

I agree. I don’t believe anyone in the county, except those that made the decision and perhaps Dr. Cox, know what the reason for his dismissal was. Maybe those members should pay to find his replacement.

I’m not sure what the consolidation has to do with ousting school board members, but I agree that we need to rid ourselves of these newcomers who made such a tragic decision. They obviously had allegiances that weren’t to the schools or the people they vowed to represent. I believe that we have solid school leaders in George Dasher, Elizabeth Hutchins and Leanne Jenkins though. I think Robert Beard has a good heart but lost his way, he now has a chance to redeem himself. The others must go.
