Thank you very much for an excellent article (“Rose oon the hill,” May 15), and what a fabulously fun photo!

We enjoyed having such a charming group of gentlemen visit Rose Hill — what other kind would Bud Hall bring?

We are pleased that you have a personal interest in the history of this area and know you must agree that it is heartening to have such a well known name as J.E.B. Stuart IV to help keep our history in the forefront.

We all are indebted to you and your paper for your coverage of the many historic events that are conducted to keep our most vital history alive in the hearts and minds of your readers, many of whom I hope are the youth of the area.
