Presidents get too much credit

I have recently read a few articles and letters about the wonderful economies under some of our past presidents.
It seems that people tend to give too much credit (or blame) to presidents regarding the economy. The past eight years have been some of the best of my life as far as economic conditions are concerned, but I certainly don’t give Bush credit for that!

You shouldn’t give Bush credit for it since it is even more of a false economy than the one the Republicans talk about when they tell us how much Clinton stunk.
