Overdue taxes could aid with school funding

Two weeks ago we received a long list of people who owe taxes along with the amounts owed to our county.
As I read the Feb. 18 edition of the Star-Exponent regarding school funding ("Board to talk finances again") I wondered why this money is not being aggressively collected so we can afford to properly educate our children for their and our futures. It seems that there should be a fair amount to help with this big budget item so that we do not deprive our kids.
