More light needs to be shined on local injustices

Thank you to the Star- Exponent for continuing to shed light on the ever growing list of injustices perpetrated by the individuals paid to regulate and police the residents of Culpeper County.

In the corrupt third world that Culpeper County has become, does it occur to anyone with any modicum of common sense that a man paid to uphold the law and protect citizens should not be able to have sex with someone underage while on the job- That perhaps someone who admits to this should do jail time- What is special about Mr. Compton- 

The old plea bargain is only a bargain when you are a law enforcement employee; for all others this is simply a fast-forward automatic conviction employed by attorneys who cannot - or prefer not to - work very hard for their clients and would rather accept a straightforward fee to send those uneducated in law as quickly as possible to their doom, rather than wear themselves out doing battle in the courtroom.

On to Mr. Ferris, who gets to do one year of five for admitting a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old.

Perhaps Mr. Compton will take a little time out of his very important life to go visit lesser beings such as Mr. Ferris over the next year or so.
