Hold School Board retreats in Culpeper

The article "Parents, students plan to take case to School Board" that appeared Feb. 11 mentioned that the School Board would "consider dates for School Board summer and fall retreats."
With all of the budget problems facing our county, should we be considering retreats in locations other than Culpeper County- Do we need to pay mileage, meals and lodging for seven School Board members and four school administrators to travel to Williamsburg or Charlottesville-
Are there not any locations in Culpeper that could handle these meetings and save us the unnecessary expenses-
I think they should consider using the Depot or any other location in Culpeper for these meetings instead of wasting much needed monies.
