On behalf of Culpeper Human Services, I would like to thank Full Circle Thrift for its generous donation.

I thank the staff for all of its hard work in earning the money and thank the Culpeper community for supporting Full Circle Thrift with its wonderful donations.

We have used the donations in a variety of ways. Part of the donation was used to supplement existing programs such as our state heating and cooling programs. Another part was used to fund some transportation costs to out-of-town medical appointments.

We were also able to donate funds to the Food Closet and to Empowering Culpeper to continue the free distribution of food to Culpeper residents.

Most importantly, the donation allowed our staff to seek remedies to emergency situations for families on their caseloads.

In this era of economic downturn, job displacements, mortgage foreclosures and escalating gas costs, the donation from Full Circle Thrift has proved to be a blessing. It assists our agency in facilitating remedies to the needs of our customers.

Thank you, Culpeper!

Wasn’t half of the money raised by Full Circle Thrift supposed to go to a public swimming pool?  And, aren’t you really thanking yourself since Full Circle is run by Social Services?
