Steve Franklin could not have said it better in his Feb. 28 online column for the Culpeper Times. He really hit the spot about Scott Found. Everything he said was true.
I'm not going to say much about Scott because so many people have said the exact same thing about him I would say because they know how caring Scott is.
As a player of his, he always taught us how to better ourselves on the field and off the field also.
Yes, he did make a mistake ("Found appeals DUI decision," Feb. 29) but so has everyone else because we are humans; no one is perfect. Dr. Cox and Mrs. Tyree can tell you that.
Because Scott is such a popular guy, everyone points him out like he's a bad guy and they don't see the real person that he is.
I was very unfortunate to not be able to play for Scott this season because of school and work.
I want the entire team to know that we can do it guys, because Scott has showed us how.
Show Culpeper County how close of a family we have become because of Scott and let's get a three-peat.
Even though Scott isn't coaching on the sideline, he is still our biggest fan ever.
Let's all keep our heads up and look toward the future. That's another great life lesson Scott has told us.
I would like to personally thank Times Sports Editor Steve Franklin for showing everyone what a great guy Scott truly is, and let Scott know how much the community and I are here for him.
Good luck to the guys on the team this season.
Win not only for Scott, but also for the people who thought we would suffer due to a common mistake made by everyone today.
