I would like to thank Star-Exponent photographer Vincent Vala for stopping by Emerald Hill Elementary School and visiting our Destination ImagiNation team.
The Global Finals are held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville May 21-25. It is an amazing opportunity in which our team of six will represent Virginia and compete against other teams from 49 states and more than 15 foreign countries! The team members are very excited and we are very proud of them.
Culpeper County and Emerald Hill have agreed to help cover some of the cost of the team’s trip to Globals; however, the team is still in need of funds for travel expenses, interactive camps and lodging for chaperones.
We are hoping that our community will help support the kids in reaching their goal.
