Here is what the Democratic Party stands for:
1. We love our country
2. We care about equal opportunity
3. We care about the right to privacy

5. We believe in constitutional democracy
6. We believe the rights of American citizens supersede the rights of corporate America
We also believe in:

I hope you weren’t talking about me being negative. My comments weren’t negative unless you took them that way and that would be your own conciense. I merely was stating facts as I see them.

I notice that the Democratic Party is growing. The Republican Party ran off the track 8 years ago.
There are a few of you still hanging on to that Right Wing Conservative Dream, really a sad.
Hey, the Alaskan Independence Party would love to have some new members.

I almost forgot to add these.
9. We believe in forced charity and of our choosing.
10. We believe we know better than you on how to spend your money and who needs it the most.

Couple of things that you should have listed.
7. We believe in wealth redistribution.
8. We believe in punishing success and rewarding mediocrity.

mst could be a posterchild for what is ruining the GOP. The author made no reference to anything but what she feels are the strong points of what the Dems stand for. What do we get for the first response?

MST in my opinion is what is tragically wrong with the Republican party. Hate filled and bitter. Get over it and vote for change, Obama.

Elizabeth: Very positive way to sum up the main principles. It would be nice if someone from the opposing party would follow suit - and go on the attack, offensive or pick it apart. (Like, Mr. Sharman - he seems good at tearing up and picking out the negatives - haven’t seen an outline of his values or his parties values recently…) As for “mst” - come on. Give me a break.

Liz, please don’t put this off. Some forms of mental illness are treatable if caught in time. Just go to CRH, tell them you need help, (show them this letter) and a qualified psychiatrist will see you. Obama will pay the bill.
