Culpeper needs new grocery stores

Actually, none of the new establishments warm the cockles of my consumer’s heart. They will just add to the ever- increasing congestion in that part of town. What I would love to see is a good, full service grocery store — such as Harris Teeter or Kroger’s — come to town and give our feeble Food Lion and pathetic Safeway a run for their money.

And how about some new eateries on the south end of Culpeper? We like to go out, too!

Safeway is cool!  That girl Chelsea is the greatest.  and Carolyn is too funny.

I totally agree with Culpeper needy new grocery stores. I’m tired of going to Warrenton and Harris Teeter in Gainsville. Also the restraunts on the south side are needed badly. There is a lot of businesses and office’s that have no place to go for a good lunch. I would like to go over there for dinner sometime. A Panera Bread would be nice. It would really complete Culpeper.

...but I LOVE my Safeway and all of the friendly people who work there!  Another store would be great, but don’t dis- my Safeway!

You must not like to go out very far.  It’s not such a long way from one end of town to the other.
