Can we say disgrace- Or unfair- These are the words that come to mind after learning of ex-Cpl. Compton's slap on the wrist for his affair with underaged child - and, yes, she was definitely a child when this affair started - 15 to be exact.

He was able to gracefully resign from his position and only receive a fine - while Mr. Ferris got the whole book, lock and key thrown at him.

Not only was our justice system not justified, but Scott Jenkins was unduly ridiculed during the election for making so-called untrue statements.

After seeing our new Culpeper County Sheriff's Office in action and learning what we now know to be true goings-on under Hart and Branch, are the rose-colored glasses off yet-

I wish Mr. Jenkins the best in his new position in Rappahannock County, I know he'll be appreciated there, as I wish he could've been in Culpeper.
