Another troubling political association

In August and September of 2006, Sen. Barack Obama went on a one-man congressional delegation visiting South Africa, Chad, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Kenya.

While in Kenya, he was seen constantly at the side of, and supporting, a man running for president named Luo Raila Odinga. His support for Odinga was so transparent that even the Kenyan government had to denounce it.

Odinga was set up in the oil business by Muammar Quaddifi. He signed an agreement with Sheikh Abdullah Abdi of the National Muslim Leaders Forum that supported the institution of repressive sharia law. Part of this agreement also promised that suspected Muslim terrorists would be free from extradition in Kenya, providing a safe haven for al Qaida.

When Odinga lost the election, his supporters burned homes and villages, raped women and burned 50 Christian women and children as they sought refuge in a church.
Later, Obama welcomed Odinga in 2007 at a fundraiser.

Obama knew what Bill Ayers was about. He knew what the Rev. Wright was about. He knew what Odinga was about. Yet he continued to associate with them for political expedience. Is this the man we want for president?

To anoptomist: So, let me get this straight.  You’re equating support for people who “burned homes and villages, raped women and burned 50 Christian women and children as they sought refuge in a church.“ with support for a people who were invaded by a communist country, lead by a man who was not THE Bin Laden at the time, and we didn’t know what a monster he would become.  Is there something I’m missing here?

Sure, we need a President who attends a racist Church, who pokes fun at typical white folks and puts down Christians and gun owners and who is friends with domestic terrorists. No wonder Hamas and the Taliban endorse Obama, he is one of them, he hates America too!

What I find interesting is McCain’s longtime association with the US Council for World Freedom.  He has been on the board of this group who, for decades, has funded, armed and provided aid to various rebel groups around the world.  Including the funneling of up to $25 million in arms and aid to Afghanistan rebels fighting Soviet troops.  Can you spell Bin Laden?
