As I write this letter, I am saddened by our country.

As Americans, we need to stand up and fight for this land and our freedom.

This election has me scared to death to think what could possibly happen to our country come November.

Republicans or Democrats, it should not matter!

America, we need to lay aside whether a candidate is either a Democrat or a Republican and look at his heart.

We need someone in office who will show our country the respect that is needed, someone who will stand up for America and for the American people.

A president needs to respect our military and the hard work that it has done, and will continue to do, to keep and to honor our freedom.

Why would you want to put in office a man who continues to mock the flag of the United States of America?

Americans please wake up before November and place the right man in the White House. Put in a man who knows what it means to serve in our armed forces and who put his life in harm’s way to give you and I the freedom we have today.

We need to put God back in American life and to put a godly man in office who will fight for the people.

I know where my vote stands for the November presidential election.

It is my solemn prayer that we, as Americans, will wake up and stand up for our country and our freedom, salute our armed forces and place the appropriate man in office as our president.

Copper I hope you will never be judged based on the people you have come in contact with over the years.  If everyone was judged that way, I’m certain we’d have a different perspective on each and every person we know.

And how do you NOT question McCain’s judgement when he left his first wife?  That to me speaks volumes about his character as a man, who stood before God and made vows, then blatantly broke them.  Is that not using poor judgement?

Well said Rebekah! I don’t think Barack is a bad person, or a bad father, he seems to be a family man with a good supportive wife. But I don’t agree with his views or his associations. Friends like Rev Jermiah Wright, Bill Ayers and others make me question his judgement. I will vote for experience and sound judgement. I will vote McCain.

My vote goes to Barack Obama ..a decent, intelligent man, a good and faithful husband and father that is kind and has fine judgment. He inspires many voters to do the best for America.  To be united and love our country.

This woman slings mud, repeats a lie and then proclaims a need to bring God into American life.  I am a Mccain voter disgusted by garbage like this.  I bet God isn’t really happy with it either.

And just which candidate “continues to mock the flag of the United States of America?“ Obama? Are you referring to the erronious story that STILL circulates via email to people who obviously believe everything that hits their inbox?
In Nov. 2007, ABC news reported this:

ABC News’ David Wright and Sunlen Miller Report: At a town hall meeting Wednesday an Iowa voter asked Senator Barack Obama, D-Ill., about the numerous emails she has received with photos purporting to show Obama “refusing” to pledge allegiance to the flag.

“You’re standing with your arms folded and Hillary’s got her hand on her heart,“ she said, adding that she received so many of these emails she is sick of them.

Obama shook his head and smiled.

“This was not during the pledge of allegiance,“ Obama said of the picture taken at Senator Tom Harkin’s, D-Iowa, annual steak fry and first published by Time.  “A woman was singing the Star Spangled Banner when that picture was taken.

“I was taught by my grandfather that you put your hand over your heart during the pledge, but during the Star Spangled Banner, you sing!“ Obama said.

By the way, I am an African Prince who must protest my fortune and I need someone in the U.S. I can send the money to, and I will share with you if you respond.
