Does anyone find it strange that illegals can live in our town, demand everything our tax dollars can afford them, and give back nothing ... without any conditions?
Yet our own children are given a condition: If they can’t wear a bike helmet, then our town (aka your tax dollars) will not be fixing a bike/skateboard ramp at the park for them.
How about this: Give the people who pay taxes and put you people in office what they want. Let the ones who don’t pay taxes use that extra money to help pay for such things as birthing children, health care, medications, road repairs and the new bike/skateboard ramps.
And you wonder why the people want to merge the town and county governments.

Our “children” are giving back less than the illegals. At least I can get an illegal to mow my grass. You can’t get the little angels that hang at the skate park to wear a helmet while they abouse what someone else gave them.

Mr. Bell, if you knew anything about the so called “illegals” you would know that they can not get welfare or food stamps or anything “FREE”. If you were in a spot and did not have any money to pay for a doctor you could use the free Clinic! or go to the hospital and be treated and then receive a bill for services rendered just as surely would happen if one of your “so called “illegals would have done to them. Now you may choose to pay the bill or not. But both would be sent a bill requesting a payment. People who are here without a green card can not get anything FREE you must have a valid ID. Why not worry about the healthy men and women who have been born here and are sitting on the streets and heading to the food closet and DSS and anyplace else they can get the FREE stuff because they do not choose to work. Why do the kids not wear the gear they know they are suppose to wear when skating. Lack of RESPECT for themselves and others. I have no problem letting my tax dollars go to people I know who are trying to do the right thing and care for there familes and get some kind of work. If the locals do not want to do manual labor then let the folks who want to work have the money. Merging the Town and County will not stop any of this!!!!
