There are crews of young people from area churches staying at Floyd T. Binns Middle School working on area houses as part of Impact Virginia, a missions program.

I can save health officials — who are still trying to pinpoint the exact cause of the recent salmonella outbreak that has sickened more than 800 people in 36 states —both time and money. It’s the meat!

After the closing of my beleaguered Culpeper Rock Academy, it seemed as though the teens in our community had been brushed aside again.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the firefighters, Red Cross and everyone who helped my family.
