One of the questions posed to Mark Warner asked him to assess Culpeper’s status in the current political climate. Here is his answer:
“I think Culpeper is a fascinating community in transition because Culpeper kind of has its self-identity — it wasn’t a (D.C.) suburb … it was a town with history and tradition, identity — and great restaurants.”
“You’re blessed with great community leaders,” he continued, citing companies like Culpeper Regional Hospital, Germanna Community College’s work force center and Terremark. “Those are world-class jobs.
“From a political standpoint, what Culpeper still has — and I would look at Danville and Martinsville in the same way — you still have that investment in the community.”

Translation: Culpeper wasn’t prepared for the growth, but let it happen without careful review and planning. Culpeper is also extremely lucky to still have some employers left! Although I don’t know anybody FROM Culpeper that works at Terremark. Just my thoughts.

Typical political double-speak. All those words and he really said nothing.
