Two people are set to answer felony charges in Culpeper courts today and Thursday.

Fielding Taylor Kines faces DUI aggravated manslaughter and driving under the influence charges in connection with the May 16 death of an 8-year-old boy. He is set to appear in Circuit Court today at 1:30 p.m.

According to the Virginia State Police, Kines, 38, lost control of his car on a northern Culpeper County road and crashed, causing the boy, Orion Bickings, to be ejected.

Police say he died at the scene.

A warrant filed in General District Court also accused Kines of trying to possibly hide the severity of the accident by moving the child into the trunk of the wrecked car.

Kines and another 5-year-old child were not injured.

On Thursday, the case of Michele Auville is set to appear in General District Court at 9:30 a.m.

Auville, 35, was arrested May 31 after police say a smoking pipe with crack residue was found in her vicinity when she got out of the car she was riding in.

Auville resigned her first grade teaching position at Emerald Hill Elementary School June 2. A June 11 court appearance was continued, according to court records.

Death penalty should be in order but it will not happen in Virginia as vehicular manslaughter is one of the hardest convictions to get. Either way you look at it the child died and it should be a MURDER case!

Dude, moving that kid to the trunk can be argued that it’s not premeditation by lawyers but it totally is...he knew the trouble he’d get in and still did that!?!?  And what did he plan to do with the body if it wasn’t discovered?  That’s horrific and he should be given a really, really severe sentence...maybe do the same thing to him.  Get him in a wreck and shove him into a trunk while injured.  That poor kid…
