A 39-year-old Greene County woman is facing felony sex crime charges after incidents involving William Monroe High School students, authorities say.
Tammy Harlow Cox is charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship and three misdemeanor counts of causing or encouraging acts rendering children delinquent. Cox was arrested Friday afternoon, according to a statement from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff J. Scott Hass said late Friday that it was his understanding that Cox was not a school employee.
A hazing incident at the school has also been turned over to county officials for investigation.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation into all the incidents is ongoing and anyone with information about the cases is asked to call 434-985-2222.

Another person who should have been hired by Branch and the CCSO. She would have gotten promoted, a new sporty patrol car, special “training” and the protection of the sheriff at all cost. “Loyalty above all” right? Hart’s words not ours!
