Due to circumstances beyond its control, the Mount Pony Theater replaces its previously scheduled Tuesday night movie, “Adam’s Rib,” starring Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, with another selection featuring the two silver screen stars.

“Woman of the Year” (1949, MGM) shows for free instead in the Culpeper Library of Congress theater Tuesday at 7 p.m.

An Oscar winner for best original screenplay, “Woman of the Year is about a couple of newspaper reporters (Tracy and Hepburn) who don’t like each other at first, but then they fall head-over-heels in love.

But guess who’s the independent one of this relationship and guess who’s feeling neglected?

Call the Mount Pony reservation line at 827-1079 ext. 79994 Tuesday morning to save your seat and find out.

The Library of Congress Packard Campus of the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center has been showing free classic movies thrice weekly in its art deco-style theater on Mount Pony since Sept. 4.
