Murder and intrigue on Mount Pony
Humphrey Bogart and Brigid O’Shaughnessy star in the 1941 Warner Bros. classic “The Maltese Falcon.“ The Library of Congress in Culpeper will unveil its theater on Mount Pony with free showings of the movie Sept. 4 and 5.

The wait is over — drum roll please…The Library of Congress Packard Campus for Audiovisual Conservation in Culpeper hosts the inaugural showing of its year-round free public movie series Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. with “The Maltese Falcon” starring Humphrey Bogart.
It will also show Friday, Sept. 5, same time and place.
Three classic movies will be shown each week in the gorgeous, state-of-the-art, Art Deco-style theater on Mount Pony. Seating is limited in the 208-seat movie house; phone reservations will be accepted starting Thursday.
