The Culpeper County Volunteer Fire Department’s annual carnival will be held May 21-24 at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on U.S. 29 South in Culpeper.
The annual fundraiser, featuring rides, games and concessions will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday with all-you-can-ride tickets for $10. That special will be repeated Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Rides will be $12 per person for the rest of the event. Rides will be provided by Five Star Attractions ofWest Virginia.
The highlight of the week will be the gigantic parade to be held Thursday, May 22, on Main Street. The parade will begin at Piedmont and Main streets at 6:30 p.m. and proceed south. Lineup will be at Piedmont and Old Brandy Road. Parade organizers expect more than 150 entries.
If you want to participate in the parade and have not received an entry form, call Christie at 219-6996, Jessica at 423-4506 or the firehouse at 825-8777. Deadline for parade entries will be Saturday, May 17.
