The Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office will join law enforcement agencies across the country in a holiday weekend crackdown on drunken drivers.
“We will be out in force conducting saturation patrols to get more drunk drivers off the road,” Sheriff Jim Branch said. “We want everyone to play it safe and always designate a sober driver if you have been out drinking.”
Entitled “Drunk Driving: Over the Limit, Under Arrest,” the national program is an initiative of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
