The Culpeper County School Board will consider adding another date to its already tight superintendent search schedule during tonight’s meeting held at the County Administration Building, 302 N. Main St.

The board will discuss holding a special meeting Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. to review its request for proposal recommendations regarding consulting services for an executive superintendent search firm.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7.

In other action, the board will also discuss rescheduling its fall retreat from Nov. 7 and 8 to a weekend in January.

The board will also consider rescheduling the parent-teacher conferences — set for Nov. 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. — because of the presidential election.

The board plans to set a new date during tonight’s meeting.
