Early morning crash causes traffic delays

An early morning wreck on Route 3 near the intersection of Clay Hill Road caused injuries and traffic to back up in both directions on the two-lane stretch toward Fredericksburg.
The incident occurred just before 7 a.m. this morning.
Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office deputies and medic crews were seen responding eastbound on Route 3 around 7:05 toward the wreck.
A white vehicle with extensive front end damage was also seen parked on the shoulder as deputies help direct traffic around the wreckage.
