April 23-25
Antioch Baptist Church, Culpeper, the Rev. Dr. Milton L. Branch Sr. and the Deacon Ministry, invites the community to our Spring Revival April 23-25.  The theme will be “Chosen For Jesus.” Our visiting guest messenger will the Rev. Willie Creshaw of Mt. Cavalry Baptist Church, Orange. Area choirs will provide the music. A repast will be served from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. and service starting at 7:30 p.m.

April 25
Relentless Youth Ministries of Hazel River Assembly of God in Rixeyville, invites all teenagers from grades 6 to 12 to come every Friday night from 3 to 9 p.m. for “Teens Only.” There will be free dinner provided. Come and hang out with your friends. For more information call the church office at 937-6041.

Mpact Girls Clubs at Hazel River Assembly of God, Rixeyville, invites all girls ages 4 to 11 for a sleepover on April 25 from 6 p.m. until 9 a.m. on Saturday. The theme for this month’s Sleepover will be “Late Night Luau!” Dinner and breakfast will be provided. Lots of games, activities and “girls stuff” will take place. Amissville United Methodist Women will be holding its annual big spring yard sale, rain or shine, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and April 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hot dogs and drinks will also be available. For more information call 987-8819.

April 26
Stevensburg Baptist Church will be having a ham and turkey dinner on April 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. to raise funds for mission projects. The cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 through 12, and under 6 will be free. The menu consists of country ham, turkey, dressing, gravy, parsley potatoes, green beans, baked apples, coleslaw, homemade rolls, dessert, and beverages.  The church is located on York Road just off Route 3 about six miles east of Culpeper. 

Jeffersonton United Methodist Church, intersection of Routes 621 and 802, Jeffersonton, is sponsoring a spring serenade as a fundraiser for land acquisition April 26 at 7 p.m. Refreshments/reception to follow at the community center. Love offering accepted.

Culpeper Baptist Church’s Saturday night service, “Overflow,” will be held in the church sanctuary beginning at 6 p.m., and will feature contemporary worship, praise music led by Justin Harding and a time of fellowship. Dave Wheatley, minister of youth, will begin a new three-part series titled “Forever young” based on Eccl. 12: 1-2. The Sunday morning contemporary service April 27 begins at 8:30 and a traditional worship begins at 11 a.m. Pastor Ted Fuson’s message at both services is titled “Head of the Church” The scripture passage is Col. 1:18. April 27
The Shiloh Baptist Church family, Brandy Station, invites the public to the first anniversary of our pastor the Rev. Reese Washington, April 27 at 3 p.m. Our guest speaker will be the Rev. Howard Butler. Lunch will be served after the morning service.

Woodland United Methodist Church, Woodland Church Road, US 522 N., Culpeper, invites everyone to join us for our Sunday worship service beginning at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. Barbara Jamieson’s message will be, “Prayer: The Lord’s Prayer.”

Temple of Deliverance HCG, Inc., 5756 Zachary Taylor Highway, Mineral, invited you to their ongoing Building Fundraiser projects, join us April 27 for “Coins for the Temple.” Any loose change that can be wrapped and donated for our building fund project would be greatly appreciated. Jeffersonton United Methodist Church, intersection of Routes 621 and 802, Jeffersonton, invites the public to join us for our Sunday service beginning at 9 a.m. The Rev. Lynn Wilbur’s message will be “Dependents.” Scripture from John 14:15-21. You may also hear the sermon at Oak Shade UMC at 10 a.m.
