Sept. 14
Bethsaida United Methodist Church, Route 607, Brightwood, will be having its homecoming services on Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Alan R. Follett will be the speaker.
Special music by Jesse Jenkins and The Blue Valley Boys and Wayne Sheads. Lunch following services.

Cedar Run Baptist Church invites the public to a picnic and Gospel sing from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 featuring the Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band.

Rising Zion Baptist Church, Jeffersonton, will be having its homecoming Sept. 14 with the Rev. Rodney Smith from Mt. Nebo Church, as our special guest.  Monday through Friday, Sept. 15 through 19, we will be having revival week starting at 7:30 each evening. Different preachers and their church choir will fellowship with us.

Oak Shade United Methodist Church, Route 229 North, Rixeyville, invites the public to join us for our annual Homecoming service Sept. 14 beginning at 11 a.m. followed by a covered-dish luncheon. The Rev. Bob Donnelly will deliver the message.  There will be no worship services at Jeffersonton UMC or Woodland UMC on this Sunday.

Nazareth Baptist Church, Boston, Va., welcomes the public to its Homecoming service on Sept. 14 when the Rev. Donald Reid, choir and congregation of Mt. Paren Baptist church, Linden, will be our guest preacher. Service will begin at 3 p.m. Lunch will be served after the morning service, with the Rev. Howard R. Frye, Pastor.

Shiloh Baptist Church, Brandy, will be having Homecoming Sept. 14 with revival starting Sept. 17. Our guest preachers will be: Sept. 14, Homecoming, the Rev. Charles Wormley, choir and congregation of Mt. Zion Baptist, Spotsylvania, 3 p.m.; Sept. 17, revival, the Rev. Robert Bumbrey, choir and congregation, Silver Hill Baptist, 7:30 p.m.; Sept. 18, the Rev. James Brown, choir and congregation of Mt. Sinai Baptist, Madison, 7:30 p.m.; Sept. 19, the Rev. Arthur Green, choir and congregation, Swift Ford Baptist, 7:30 p.m.

Woodville Baptist Church, 4629 Sperryville Pike, welcomes all to our Sunday morning service at 11 a.m. Pastor Ron Poe of Amissville will bring the message. Call 987-9621.
Stevensburg Baptist Church, 19393 York Road, Stevensburg, will hold a revival Sept. 14-17 beginning at 10:45 a.m. Sunday morning and at 7:30 p.m. each evening.  The speaker will be Steve Freeman, one of the featured speakers at the Bailey Smith Evangelism Conference of 2008. 

Sept. 17-19
Canaan Baptist Church, 14494 Shanktown Road, Reva, invites to our annual Fall Revival at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Our special guest on Wednesday is the Rev. Howard Frye, Nazareth Baptist Church, choir and congregation, Boston, Va.; Thursday, the Rev. Sidney Williams, Mount Olive Baptist Church, Culpeper; Friday, the Rev. James Mack, Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Locust Grove and Devine Life Ministry, Mitchell.

Sept. 21
Fellowship Baptist Church, 725 Gate Road, Madison, will be hosting the “One Nation Under God” program beginning each Sunday, Sept.21 through Oct. 26. Services are held at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday School, 11:0 a.m. for worship service, 7 p.m. for Sunday evening service and 6 p.m. for Wednesday evening services. Call 948-5970, for more information.

Macedonia Baptist Church will celebrate the 8th anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. Dr. Donald Simpkins on Sept. 21. The Rev. Marvin Hargrove, Sr. an Associate Minister of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Alexandria, will preach the 11:30 a.m. Worship service. The Rev. Nelson Sneed, Pastor of the Little Forest Baptist Church, Stafford, shall preach the 3 p.m. celebration. Lunch will be provided after the morning Worship service.
