Floyd T. Binns Middle School is hosting a Community Book Fair Monday-May 7 during school hours to help raise funds for the FTBMS Library.  The book fair will be open Monday-Fridayfrom 8 a.m. to 3:15 and on May 7 from 8 a.m. to noon.  Parents, students, teachers, families, the community and businesses are invited.  829-6894.

Here's a good way to help a local fire department and enjoy a good meal at the same time. Rapidan Volunteer Fire Department will be having a breakfast Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The menu will be eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, potatoes, biscuits, coffee, milk, and juice.  Adults/$6. Children/$4.

Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association will present its Spring Gospel Concert featuring many artists on April 29 at the Culpeper County High School at 5 p .m. This is one you won't want to miss.

Carless Web and the Gospel Strings will present a bluegrass voncert at St. Luke's Episcopal Parish Hall May 1, 500 Church St., Remington; 7 p.m.; 547-4537.

We're sure you will enjoy the Blue Ridge Chorale's spring concerts in honor of the 40th Anniversary of Jamestown; Friday at 8 p.m. at Culpeper Baptist Church and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Lake of the Woods Worship Center. 825-5583 or www.brcsings.com.

Madison County is conducting a Habitat for Humanity Walk-a-thon and Family Fun Day on May 5 starting at 10 a.m.  There will be two walks, one at 10 a.m. and one at 2 p.m., games and contests; barbecued chicken by Yoders; and crafts, bake sales, flea markets, and homemade ice cream.  Call 948-4701, 672-4806 or 948-3200.

Fauquier High School Theatre will present the first Virginia production of the new Broadway musical "All Shook Up" in the Addison Lightfoot Auditorium on May 4, 5, 6, 11, and 12.
