May 4-6
The Youth Ministry of New Fellowship Christian Center
will host its Second Annual Youth Explosion May 4 through 6.
Friday there will be a Gospel Go-Go at Wetsel Middle School Gym from 7 to 11 p.m., featuring Gospel Blend Band from Washington, D.C. and Maryland. Admission is $5 and tickets can either be purchased in advance or at the door. All youth ages 11 — 18 are invited to attend.
Saturday there will be a day of fun with games, prizes, praise dancing, miming, and encouraging words at The Young Farmer's Field (behind Madison High School). This event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and you can purchase your lunch on the grounds. Bring your lawn chairs/blankets and spend the day.
Sunday there will be a guest speaker during the regular 10 a.m. service.
All youth (and parents) in the community are invited to fellowship with us during this exciting weekend.

SATURDAY
The "Froggies" Relay For Life Team from the Jeffersonton Baptist Church will be sponsoring a gigantic yard sale at the Jeffersonton Community Center from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Furniture, dishes, clothes, books and knick-knacks are some of the items that have been given for sale. Call 937-4069.
Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, 225 Spicers Mill Road, will feature The Sullivan's from Alabama in a Gospel concert starting at 7 p.m. Call Paul and Charlene Kirk at 540-854-8799 or Rebecca at 854-8717.

Octavia "Missy" Lewis-Yates will be in concert at 6 p.m. at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center in Rixeyville, with various guests. Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the Praise The Lord Christian Bookstore at 825-8551 or call Octavia at 829-5466 for tickets.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Alanthus, announces its building fund ,"Women in Red" program to be held at 4 p.m. Entertainers are the "Restoration Community Praise Dancers" from Fredericksburg, and "The Eternity Gospel Singers" from Alexandria. Macedonia Baptist Church, Flint Hill, will have their "Dress Down Worship Service" beginning at 9:30 a.m. A fellowship breakfast will follow in the dining hall.

White Oak Run Baptist Church will hold Missionary Day beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Anita Wright of Big Island will be the guest speaker. Prayer meeting and Bible study every Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday School every Sunday morning from at 10 to 10:45 a.m. Sunday morning worship service every Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. The White Oak Run Baptist Church offers van service for anyone needing a ride to Sunday school or morning service. The Trinity Baptist Church of Warrenton, will celebrate 33 years of ministry on Sunday. Dr. David Gibbs Jr. of Seminole, Fla. is the guest preacher for all services starting at 9:45 a.m. Trinity Baptist Church is located at 8803 James Madison Hwy, two miles south of Warrenton on US 29.

The Mount Lion Baptist Church, Criglersville, invites everyone to celebrate its Deacon and Deaconess day beginning at 11 a.m. The word will be proclaimed by the Rev. Phyllis Williams. Lunch to follow morning worship. At 3 p.m. the Rev. Charles Lewis will proclaim the word.

SUNDAY
Jeffersonton United Methodist Church invites you to join us for our worship service beginning at 9 a.m. The Rev. Lynn Wilbur's message will be "Church As Its Meant To Be." Scripture from Acts 11:1-18. We are located at the intersection of Routes 621 and 802, Jeffersonton. Also hear the sermon at Oak Shade UMC at 10 a.m. and Woodland UMC at 11:15 a.m.

The Men's Ministry of Rising Zion Baptist Church, Winston, will be having their annual pre-Mothers Day service at 11 a.m. Our guest minister will be Minister Deloris Lee of the White Oak Baptist Church, Rapidan. All invited.

May 6-11
Bible Baptist Church,
1121 Sperryville Pike, will be having its Spring Revival with Evangelist Dwight Smith. Services times are Sunday, 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Monday — Friday at 7 p.m. There will be special music each evening and a nursery will be provided. Call 825-9518.

Spotswood Baptist Church

Tidings Out of the East presents a Bible and Health Seminar beginning May 11 through 15, 6:45 p.m. nightly, at Sycamore Park Elementary School, 451 Radio Lane, Culpeper.

May 12
Abundant Life Christian Fellowship
