April 26-29
Crooked Run Baptist Church, Rapidan and Pastor Karl Hrebik invite the community to attend revival services at 7 p.m. on April 26, 27 and 28 and 11 a.m. on April 29 with evangelist Roger Browning at one of the oldest churches in the state. Special gospel music will be provided by Beulahland Quartet of Mount Zion Methodist Church on Thursday, The Coachmen of Staunton on Friday night, Blue Grace of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church on Saturday and Charlie Frazier of The Virginia Gentlemen on Sunday. The church will host a covered dish luncheon following the morning service on Sunday. Call 672-7869.
April 27-29
The Madison Choral Society's spring concert is titled "Great is Jehovah the Lord". Directed by Judy Maxfield, the 31-voice choir will sing selections by Franz Schubert, Randall Thompson, W.A. Mozart, and Richard Dirksen. Concert times are Friday, at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Orange and Sunday at 4 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Haywood. No admission is charged. SATURDAY
Divine Life Ministries under the direction of the Rev. James "Greg" Mack, is having a musical program from 3 to 5 p.m. at St. Stevens Baptist Church, Stevensburg. There will be guest choirs and the guest group will be Men-N-Christ.
Canaan Baptist Church will present "Ms. Mission Possible 2007" at 6 p.m. at Wayland Blueridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Road, Rixeyville. Enjoy an evening of entertainment and pageantry. Alum Spring Baptist Church will be having its next movie night at 7 p.m. The name of the movie is "The Second Chance" starring: Michael W. Smith. Please come and bring a friend for an evening of fun and fellowship.

Stevensburg Baptist Church will be having a ham and turkey dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. to raise funds for mission projects. The cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and under 6 will be admitted for free. The menu consists of country ham, turkey, dressing, gravy, parsley potatoes, green beans, baked apples, coleslaw, homemade rolls, dessert, and beverages. The church is located on York Road just off Route 3 about six miles east of Culpeper.
SUNDAY
The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association, Inc. will have a spring gospel concert at the Culpeper County High School. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the concert will start at 5 p.m. Featured guests will be evangelist Dorothy Norwood of Atlanta, Ga.; elder James Flowers and The Flowers Family (Seat Pleasant, Md.); Marion Morton (Charleston, S.C.); The Southern Gospel Singers (Washington, D.C.); The Barbour Travelers (Clifton); Donna Woolfolk and The Voices of the Gospel (Fredericksburg) and Righteous (Culpeper). Advance tickets are $15, and $20 at the door; Children (under 12) $8 at the door; VIP tickets $20. Tickets on sale at: Praise the Lord Book Store, Music World, Soap Opera Laundromat, Legacy Barber Shop and Louise Roberts Beauty Salon. The concert is sponsored by Dr. Bernardo Snipes and Rev. Frank D. Lewis Sr.
Little Zion Baptist Church Usher Board will be sponsoring Ushers Day at 3 p.m. The Rev. Frederick Sales, pastor of the Rising Sun Baptist Church, Mineral along with his congregation, will be our guests.
Oak Shade United Methodist Church invites you to join us for our Sunday worship beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Lynn Wilbur's message will be, "Show Us Plainly Who You Are." Scripture from John 18:22-30. The church is located on Route 229 N. Rixeyville. Also hear the sermon at Jeffersonton UMC at 9 a.m. and at Woodland UMC at 11:15 a.m.
Culpeper United Methodist Church invites the community to a special laity healing service at 6 p.m. in our sanctuary. Pastor Randy Orndorff will lead us in the service of Communion and Nancy Palmer, Lay Speaker, will bring us the message for the evening. Also join us Sunday as we are lead in worship by our Pastor who will bring us his message entitled, "What Does God Ask of You-'' Special music will feature soloist Barbara Wright along with the Chancel Choir and Treble and King's Kids Choirs. Services at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Modern worship at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for all ages; youth and adult Sunday school at 11 a.m.; children worship at 11 a.m.
TUESDAY

May 4-6
The Youth Ministry of New Fellowship Christian Center will host its second annual youth explosion 2007 weekend during the weekend of May 4-6. Friday there will be a Gospel Go-Go at Wetsel Middle School Gym from 7 to 11 p.m., featuring Gospel Blend Band from Washington, D.C. and Maryland. Admission is $5 and tickets can either be purchased in advance or at the door. All youth ages 11 18 are invited to attend. Saturday there will be a day of fun with games, prizes, praise dancing, miming, and encouraging Word at The Young Farmer's Field (behind Madison High School). This event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and you can purchase your lunch on the grounds. Bring your lawn chairs/blankets and spend the day. Sunday, there will be a guest speaker during the regular 10 a.m. service. All youth (and parents) in the community are invited to fellowship with us during this exciting weekend. Octavia "Missy" Lewis-Yates will be in concert at 6 p.m. at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center in Rixeyville, with various guests. This concert promotes the release of her new CD. Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Alanthus, announces its building fund "Women in Red" program to be held at 4 p.m. Entertainers are the "Restoration Community Praise Dancers" from Fredericksburg, and "The Eternity Gospel Singers" from Alexandria. White Oak Run Baptist Church will host Missionary Day. Rev. Anita Wright of Big Island will be the guest speaker. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Prayer meeting and Bible study every Thursday evening beginning at 7 until 8:30 p.m. Sunday School every Sunday morning beginning at 10 to 10:45 a.m. Sunday morning worship service every Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. The White Oak Run Baptist Church offers van service for anyone needing a ride to Sunday School or morning service.
