SATURDAY
H & R Relay Team from Hopewell and Richardsville churches is holding a last hoorah yard and bake sale from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Elementary School parking lot. Proceeds will benefit Culpeper County Relay for Life Cancer Walk June 2-3.
     
SUNDAY
Jeffersonton United Methodist Church, intersection of routes 621 and 802, Jeffersonton, will hold its worship at 9 a.m. The Rev. Lynn Wilbur's message will be, "Jesus Is God." Scripture from John 14:8-17.  Also hear the sermon on Oak Shade UMC beginning at 10 a.m. and Woodland UMC beginning at 11:15 a.m.

Providence Bible Church elder Bo Kilby will preach this Sunday on "Living As God Desires" from Romans 12.  The church is located at 740 Old Brandy Road in Culpeper.  Sunday School is at 9 a.m. and the morning service will be at 10 a.m.  For more information, call 825-4715 or visit providencebible.org

Empowered to Reach Baptist Church will be having its youth day starting at 3:30 p.m. The guest preacher will be Minister Wittney Johnson from Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Dinner will be served.

Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Tanners will have its annual youth day beginning at 11 a.m. Our guest speaker will be Minister Michael Tinsley Jr. Refreshments will be served following morning worship. Call 672-9065.

Faith Bible Baptist Church, 9467 Zachary Taylor Highway, Unionville, will be holding revival services May 27-31. The Sunday services will begin at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 6:30 p.m. The weekday services will begin at 7 p.m. Evangelist Lin Croxton will be the special guest.  Call 854-4286.

Miracle Tabernacle Church of God, 11623 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, will be having Revival starting Sunday morning at 11 a.m., Sunday evening at 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday, beginning at 7 p.m.

Rising Zion Baptist Church, Jeffersonton
, will host a gospel extravaganza beginning at 4 p.m. The guest will be The Barbour Travelers, Missy and the Little Guys, Minister Laverne Carter and the Fantastic Carter Singers, Eternity Gospel Singers and our very own the Rising Zion Choir.

June 9
Mount Zion Baptist Church, Criglersville
, will host its annual prayer breakfast at 9 a.m. Guests will be Evangelist Louise Jackson, co-pastor Emmanuel Christian Center, Ruckersville and the Rev. Jean Whitehead, Bethlem Christian Fellowship, Culpeper. Call 948-3327.

June 11-15
Empowered to Reach Baptist Church
will be having a tent revival starting at 7:30 p.m. each evening; Monday night will be V-Tech Families night by the Rev. Terence D. Johnson, Pastor. The location will be 100 yards from Madison County Sheetz, Matarsha's Hair Salon's front lawn. Directly across from the Tastee Freeze.

August 14

, Madison County Republican Women: "In the Bible, everything about Jesus was predicted in the Old Testament. No place in the Bible is there any predictions about Muslims, but there is a warning to us as Christians," said Jihadist expert Jeffrey Hughes at the April 10 meeting of the Madison County Republican Women. They would love for Iraq to be Shiite." Jeffrey Hughes will return as guest speaker at MCRW's Aug. 14 meeting, 6:30 p.m. at the Madison Presbyterian Church, to continue his discussion on Islam and Jihad.
